Lakeshore Railroad

Rockclimber and the tank car went into the workshop in late October and returned early December. Rockclimber was fixed and is still running now as I write this (January 2015), whilst the tank car was finally finished. 

Whilst in the works, it recieved a long wanted repaint into our standard maroon, its lid with air tight seal and all the neccesary valves. This now means that it can perform boiler wash outs at the railway (after it gets its safety valve fiddled with as its spring is far too strong!). The fittings on the top from left to right: water valve, lid, air in and discharge and safety valve.
